Monte has characteristic streets and scattered houses and some of these, the oldest, are still visible with small courtyards and portals typical of the Lessinia area.
At the end of the town is the Austrian fort Mollinary, built in the mid-nineteenth century during the Habsburg rule, with the stone from the nearby quarries.

In the village, don't miss the church of San Nicolò, whose construction dates back to 1351.
Inside, the floor is made with a pattern of alternating bands of red marble and yellow marble, with central black and white backgrounds.
Near the presbytery, there is a precious altarpiece by Francesco Lorenzi, a pupil of the famous Venetian painter Giambattista Tiepolo.

From the church of Monte part a path where you can admire old dams, mills, ice-houses, vineyards and ancient rural estates.
