Valpolicella is the ideal place to gather in meditation in front of a good glass of red wine, but here there are also a series of silent and peaceful places, immersed in the green of nature, where you can meditate and find yourself.

To reach the church of San Zeno, you will have to reach the top of the Poia hill, after having traveled the road uphill for about 500 m past the Fontana Vecchia, in the center of Sant'Ambrogio.

Of Romanesque origin, the church was built with layers of pink limestone.
Inside, there are decorations with medieval frescoes depicting San Zeno and San Giorgio.

On the side, the bell tower with a crenellated roof is particular, with the small bell peeking out from all four mullioned windows.

From here, in a few minutes, you can reach the top of the mountain on foot, from which the view of the hills planted with vineyards and Garda is truly unmissable.
