In Dolcè
In Dolcè, in the hamlet of Volargne, the fantastic Villa del Bene, an architectural masterpiece that was declared a monument of national interest in 1926, is well worth a visit. It was built between the 15th and 16th centuries. The first parts of the building date back to the 15th century, but it was Giovanni del Bene, after purchasing the villa and surrounding land from Antonio Malfatti between 1538 and 1539, who breathed new life into the building.
After this very interesting visit, our advice is not to miss the opportunity to visit the Sara Stanghellini Floral Artist shop. This is the perfect place to find the right decorations for your home and feel the true Christmas spirit! Her extraordinary creations can also be a perfect gift for those who love flowers and decorations.

At Fumane
In Fumane stands Villa della Torre, a true jewel of 16th-century Italy, nestled among the green hillsides planted with vineyards.
Known as el palasso (the palace) by the inhabitants of Fumane, Villa della Torre was completed in all its parts around 1560, commissioned by Giulio della Torre, an intellectual and humanist with strong social, political and religious connections.
The closed architectural scheme is reminiscent of the ancient Latin domus: everything develops around the ‘heart’ of the house, the peristyle.
The villa was conceived to combine architecture and nature, as witnessed by the monster-mouthed fireplaces that adorn the rooms, the ironic masks that bring the immense force of fire into the rooms, the grotto carved out between two flights of stairs leading to the garden, the fishpond and the fountains with spectacular water features.

In Marano
To enjoy a breathtaking view and visit an interesting religious building, you must go to the Santuariodi Santa Maria Valverde.
The present church dates back to the 17th century but seems to have a much older origin: it stands on the ruins of an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Minerva. The church's small churchyard, surrounded by pine trees, forms a stupendous belvedere with a vast panorama sweeping from the Valpolicella below, to the Catena del Baldo, and on to Lake Garda.

Here lies one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: S. giorgio inganna poltron, as the locals call it.
This small village, perched on a hill amidst precious vineyards and olive groves, enjoys one of the most evocative views of the entire Veronese territory.
From the belvedere in the central square and from the surrounding panoramic streets, there is a view that sweeps from the lively centre of Verona to the eastern Valpolicella, from the Veronese plain to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, and as far as Lake Garda with its sunny shores and pretty villages.
The heart of the village, built entirely of local white limestone, is the Longobardo-Romanesque parish church, one of the oldest churches in the Verona area, around which the entire village, with its stone houses and narrow courtyards, winds.
