The surroundings of the village of Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo offer many opportunities for beautiful walks and hikes, immersed in the wonderful nature of this region.

The routes that we recommend in this case are two:

ROUTE 1

One of these routes starts from the village square, dominated by the large church, which offers a breathtaking view. Following the road towards Fosse for about a hundred metres, turn left and follow the signs for San Giovanni in Loffa.

The itinerary continues beyond the provincial road, crossing the crest of Mount Loffa, offering a spectacular panorama embracing the Corni d'Aquilio, Mozzo and Mount Baldo. Continuing uphill towards Loffa, you arrive at the striking ancient Romanesque Church of San Giovanni, a place steeped in history and charm.

The road to the south leads you along the forest, and you gradually lose altitude. Continuing without returning to the provincial road, you advance along the dirt road through the quarries until you reach a wide concrete pavement, where the steep path begins on the left. This path will allow you to reach the picturesque hamlet of Sottosengia in a short time.

Leaving the scenic hamlet behind, you descend to the bottom of the valley along the dirt road and then begin an ascent along the opposite side of the Zivelongo.

The route finally culminates on the asphalt road to Gravazzo, and from there you quickly return to the starting point, thus completing this extraordinary adventure.

The medium difficulty of the hike makes it accessible to a wide range of hikers, and the duration of 3 ½ hours (10.5 km) allows you to fully enjoy all the beauty this itinerary has to offer.

ROUTE 2

This hiking route runs in the southern part of the municipality of Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo and forms an enchanting ring around Monte Tesoro, offering breathtaking views and an experience immersed in nature.

The route begins in the picturesque hamlet of Corrubbio and continues through the charming district of Vaggimal, offering spectacular views along the way. Ascending and passing through the pretty hamlet of Crestena, the route proceeds along the vicinal road of Dorigo, a road that will take you to enchanting places rich in history.

Continue down to Ponte di Veja, a natural bridge of karstic origin recognised as a SCI (Site of Community Importance) and SPA (Special Protection Zone) area of considerable naturalistic-tourist importance, which is of regional and national importance. This extraordinary place offers an unmissable opportunity to admire the beauty of unspoilt nature and to immerse oneself in its majesty.

From the magic of Ponte di Veja, the route continues towards the contrada di Giare, along Via Garibaldi G. and Via Casel, two streets that wind their way through evocative scenery. Continuing the journey to Croce dello Schioppo, one crosses the artisan pole of Lessinia stone processing, a traditional and fascinating activity that is linked to the history and identity of this region.

Finally, concluding the journey at the starting point in Corrubio, you will have completed an unforgettable excursion, enriched by a variety of landscapes and places of great historical and natural interest.
