In the main square, at the top of a picturesque flight of marble steps is the Palazzo del Comune or Town Hall.

Surrounded by a small green lawn at the centre of the steps is the red Verona marble Monument to the Stonemason, the work of sculptor Ante Marinovic and inaugurated in 1982. At the base of the final flight of steps there are sculptures of two lions, guardians of the square.

The particularly fine fresco depicting the Madonna nursing the Infant on one of the external façades dates from around the 14th to 15th centuries.
