If this is the first time you have gone up to the village of San Giorgio, then it is likely that you will spend a lot of time looking and gazing at the enchanting view enjoyed from up here!

It is difficult indeed not to appreciate this view, one of the most suggestive in Italy.

In the clear mornings both summer and winter, it almost seems to be suspended on the valleys below and their centers, from Sant'Ambrogio up to the hill called La Grola, one of the most suitable areas for wine production in the whole area, characterized by terraces and the top flat surrounded by cypresses.

Beyond the Grola in the distance you can see the flat blue surface of the Garda and its ever calm waters.

On particularly clear days you can distinctly see the long peninsula on which is the elegant town of Sirmione, with its Scaliger Castle and the Grotte di Catullo.

Towards the west, as far as the eye can see, the land cultivated with vineyards of the Eastern Valpolicella, up to the historic center of Verona, set between the sinuous bends of the Adige.
